Carina Alves

Candidate for Deputy St. Helier Central

It has been a privilege to serve as Deputy of St Helier District 2 and I am now standing for re-election in St Helier Central.

I was born and raised in Jersey and had a career as a Mathematics teacher before being elected to the States in May 2018, when I became the first States Member of Portuguese heritage.

For me, ensuring Jersey is a place where we all have equal access to the services and support we need in order to achieve, inspire and flourish, has never been more important.

Health:

Islanders’ health continues to be a real issue.

Ensuring we have affordable, easy, and early access to quality health services is paramount.
