Candidate for Connétable in St. Martin
The parish system is at the heart of Island life, and it is a tremendous honour to serve as Connétable. It is a role which is crucial for the administration of the Parish, and essential for the representation of its concerns within the States Assembly.
Whilst it is important to respect and maintain our rich heritage, it is also essential for us to consider the future, and to deal with the many challenges faced by individuals, the Parish, and the Island.
It has been a privilege to have been involved for a number of years in a variety of aspects of parish life in St. Martin. I am a Trustee of St. Martin’s Conservation Trust and have served on the St. Martin Battle of Flowers Association and am a former Editor of St. Martin’s Parish magazine – Les Nouvelles de St. Martin, a role which I thoroughly enjoyed as it brought me into contact with so many parishioners and enabled me to showcase St. Martin’s rich diversity.
